Fabulous additions to basic beauty

I love art. There are so many different forms of art whether it’s music, painting, film, sculptures, literature and so much more. If you are like me, you have your preferred form of art expression, whether you create or observe. I happen to create collages. If you have found your way to my portfolio page, you may have stumbled upon my collages. This has been something I have done for several years and think of it as putting puzzle pieces together. 

An inspiration of mine can be found on Instagram as @labyrinthofcollages. Paria Mahboobi creates some of the most beautiful collages I’ve ever seen. Her style is distinct and quite attractive. How I imagine her process is collecting professional photos of celebrities, then figuring out the vibe she wants to go for, and finally putting all the pieces together. She adds fun features like disco balls, martini glasses, matches, bows, sunglasses, glitter and so much more. She keeps up to date with pop culture, whether it’s a photoshoot, red carpet pictures, selfies, etc. Mahboobi uses a wide variety of models and always credits the photographer. 

I think Paria is so talented and underappreciated for her work. She has gained recognition from celebrities like Olivia Rodrigo and rightfully so. As I’m writing this, @labyrinthofcollages has almost 81k followers on Instagram. I’m confident that in the future she will be appreciated the way she deserves.
